Add this group to your +watch to get notified of new DeviantArt badges when they come out. Everyone can join! Badges are icons that can be added to your profile page. Below are listed all the known types of badges, including how to obtain them. Not all badges are publicly available and some have been discontinued. All badges (except llama and cake) are given by devart, a DeviantART System Bot. Because devart is not a human that account can't answer to your questions about the different badges. Also, DeviantART admins can give some other badges than just llamas and cakes. This group can't give any badges because we are not DeviantART admins. Badges currently cannot be removed from your account but you can try if you want by contacting help desk. Your 5 newest badges are featured in a widget on your profile. Previously, if you arranged your badge order before the 2020 Eclipse, those will be your featured badges. Your newest badge will push your right-most featured badge out if you earn any new badges (even if you arranged them). But since October 24th, 2022, rearranging badges were reintroduced due to popular demand. You can rearrange your top 5 badges once again. Your llama farm is featured as a widget on your profile. The current limit is 20 llamas and you can choose from numerous backgrounds. However, it seems that backgrounds cannot be changed on mobile devices, unfortunately. If you want to remove all badge notifications, go to https://www.deviantart.com/settings/general and scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Notification Settings" and check the box for "Turn off notifications for badges". Groups used to have badges besides llamas and cakes if it was converted from a regular DA account using convertaclub before July 4th, 2010. However, sometime after the 2020 Eclipse, badges seemed to have disappeared from a Group's account. A Group can no longer receive badges and they are also no longer displayed on a Group's homepage. Groups will also automatically be converted to a new Group layout sometime in early to mid-2024. Sadly all Groups' favourites and affiliates will be lost but galleries will remain intact.

Llama Badges (Llamas are awesome!) Introduced April 1st, 2010 Available to everyone Llamas can be given to other users through the Give menu found at the top of the user profile.
